Pride 1 hat. this hat was sold as ‘goods'(event merchandise) at the Pride 1 event for approximately 25 dollars. It has an adjustable back and came in black only with either red Pride letters or white Pride letters
Pride Fighting Championship 1 was held on October 11, 1997, in Tokyo, Japan at the Tokyo Dome. This was the first Pride event and the biggest event Japan had up to this point with 47,860 people in attendance. Originally named ‘KRS-PRIDE’, the name was later changed to Pride Fighting Championships. This event had 6 single fights and a K1 rules fight. The main event featured undefeted Rickson Gracie versus pro wrestler turned mma fighter, Nobuhiko Takada. Rickson Gracie beat Takada with an armlock to win the middleweight fight. They would later rematch at Pride 4.
